Skilled Nursing Care and Rehabilitation Programs Serve Residents and General Public

For the fourth year in a row, Knollwood Life Plan Community has earned the Best Nursing Homes rating of “High Performing,” the highest possible rating, by U.S. News & World Report. The annual Best Nursing Homes ratings help prospective residents and their families in making informed decisions, in consultation with their medical professionals, about where to receive short-term or long-term nursing home care.

Knollwood’s designation of ‘Best Nursing Home’ is shared by only 19 percent of U.S. skilled nursing communities which satisfy the publication’s assessment of the appropriate use of key services and deliver consistent performance in quality measures.
This notable recognition validates Knollwood’s skilled nursing team’s ongoing commitment to providing the highest level of quality care to residents. Nursing team members have worked at Knollwood an average of over eight years and are exceptionally trained to deliver person-centered care with state-of-the-art therapies.

Now in its 13th year, the U.S. News Best Nursing Homes ratings and profiles offer comprehensive information about care, safety, health inspections, staffing and more for nearly all of the nation’s 15,000-plus nursing homes. The Best Nursing Homes ratings reflect U.S. News’ exclusive analysis of publicly available data using a methodology defined by U.S. News that evaluates factors that it has determined most greatly impact patient and resident care, safety, and outcomes.

“We couldn’t be more honored that a credible, third party organization like U.S. News recognizes our Health Services Center and the amazing work our skilled nursing teams provide each and every day to our residents,” said MG Timothy P. McHale, USA (Ret.), President and CEO, Knollwood.
